Rainbow Ghost Fuse Bead Pattern: Free 46×47 Grid

  • 2,162 beads
  • 9 colours
  • 46 × 47 grid
  • Intermediate
  • 2.6mm mini beads
In short: this free fuse bead pattern shows a big-eyed ghost striped with rainbow bands on a square black background. It uses 2,162 mini 2.6mm beads in 9 colours on a 46 × 47 grid. Once ironed, it measures about 12 × 12.2 cm and fits on a single 52 × 52 pegboard. All colour codes are MARD codes, compatible with Artkal and Hama mini beads.

A retro, video-game style ghost dressed in vertical bands of sapphire, sky blue, white, mustard and tomato red. The black background makes the colours pop and turns it into a lovely square picture to frame or display on a shelf. The large solid bands make placing the beads steady and almost meditative.

The green button adds one 1,000-bead bag per colour to your cart, enough to make the pattern with beads to spare. The second button opens our bead calculator with all 9 colours and exact quantities already filled in: check, adjust if needed, then add to cart. Some colours are only used for a few beads, such as D15 (4 beads), B23 (1 bead): for those, the second button is the more economical choice.

How to make the rainbow ghost with fuse beads

  1. Get the grid ready. Print the grid in colour or display it on a tablet next to your 52 × 52 pegboard.
  2. Prepare your beads and tools. Gather the 9 colours in the pattern (H07, H02, F03, C10, C08, A08, B05, D15, B23), a 52 × 52 pegboard, bent-tip tweezers, ironing paper and an iron.
  3. Start with the ghost, band by band: sapphire (C08), sky blue (C10), white (H02), mustard (A08) and tomato (F03). Place it with bent-tip tweezers, following the grid row by row. The vertical bands are easy to follow column by column and give the ghost its shape right away.
  4. Fill the large areas. Place the black background (H07) all around the ghost, row by row.
  5. Add the details. Finish with the small touches: lime green (B05), indigo (D15) and taupe (B23).
  6. Iron. Cover the pattern with ironing paper, iron on medium heat without steam. Move in small circles for 10 to 20 seconds until the beads fuse. Let it cool under a book so your piece stays flat.
