  • 64 × 64 grid
  • Intermediate
  • 2.6mm mini beads
In short: this free fuse bead pattern shows a small open photo frame made of a ghost, a purple witch hat, a pumpkin and a tombstone, linked by garlands. It uses 856 mini 2.6mm beads in 17 colours on a 64 × 64 grid. Once ironed, it measures about 10.1 × 11.7 cm and fits on a single 52 × 52 pegboard. All colour codes are MARD codes, compatible with Artkal and Hama mini beads.

Four Halloween motifs in the four corners, linked by thin bead garlands: a ghost, a purple witch hat, a pumpkin and a tombstone. The centre stays open so you can slip in a photo, a little note or a drawing. A lovely handmade gift idea for the season.

The green button adds one 1,000-bead bag per colour to your cart, enough to make the pattern with beads to spare. The second button opens our bead calculator with all 17 colours and exact quantities already filled in: check, adjust if needed, then add to cart. Some colours are only used for a few beads, such as A16 (7 beads), B23 (6 beads), G10 (1 bead): for those, the second button is the more economical choice.

How to make the Halloween photo frame with fuse beads

  1. Get the grid ready. Print the grid in colour or display it on a tablet next to your 52 × 52 pegboard.
  2. Prepare your beads and tools. Gather the 17 colours listed above, a 52 × 52 pegboard, bent-tip tweezers, ironing paper and an iron.
  3. Start with the outline in onyx (H06). Place it with bent-tip tweezers, following the grid row by row. It draws the silhouette and guides everything else.
  4. Fill the large areas. Use smoke white (H09), amethyst (D07), anthracite (H05), orange coral (A07), cacao (G14) and wine red (G08).
  5. Add the details. Finish with the small touches: pale yellow (A03), light orange (A06), navajo white (A11), pale yellow (A16), amethyst (D06), white (H02), grey (H04), ash grey (M01), taupe (B23) and bronze (G10).
  6. Iron. Cover the pattern with ironing paper, iron on medium heat without steam. Move in small circles for 10 to 20 seconds until the beads fuse. Let it cool under a book so your piece stays flat.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the finished piece?

With 2.6mm mini beads, it measures about 10.1 × 11.7 cm. The grid is 64 × 64, but the frame only takes up about 39 × 45 beads: it fits on a single square 52 × 52 pegboard.

Does this pattern work with Hama mini or Artkal beads?

Yes. The codes are MARD codes, and our 2.6mm beads are compatible with Artkal mini beads. You can also use Hama mini beads (2.5mm): the grid stays the same, the result is just slightly smaller (about 9.8 × 11.2 cm).

Is this pattern suitable for beginners?

Better for an intermediate level. The bead count is modest, but there are 17 colours and thin garlands placed bead by bead. Place them carefully so the frame stays sturdy after ironing. Allow about 1 h 40 min of placing.

Can I sell pieces made from this pattern?

No. The original design belongs to 呆呆泡芙. This pattern is shared for free for personal, non-commercial use only.
