The green button adds one 1,000-bead bag per colour to your cart, enough to make the pattern with beads to spare. The second button opens our bead calculator with all 7 colours and exact quantities already filled in: check, adjust if needed, then add to cart. Some colours are only used for a few beads, such as A26 (4 beads), E15 (4 beads): for those, the second button is the more economical choice.
How to make the penguin in a red hat with fuse beads
- Get the grid ready. Print the grid in colour or display it on a tablet next to your 52 × 52 pegboard.
- Prepare your beads and tools. Gather the 7 colours in the pattern (F05, H12, H07, F23, C10, A26, E15), a 52 × 52 pegboard, bent-tip tweezers, ironing paper and an iron.
- Start with the outline in black (H07). Place it with bent-tip tweezers, following the grid row by row. It draws the silhouette and guides everything else.
- Fill the large areas. Use dark cherry (F05) and seashell (H12).
- Add the details. Finish with the small touches: salmon (F23), sky blue (C10), amber (A26) and baby pink (E15).
- Iron. Cover the pattern with ironing paper, iron on medium heat without steam. Move in small circles for 10 to 20 seconds until the beads fuse. Let it cool under a book so your piece stays flat.
