The 6 colours in this pattern
Click a colour to see the matching refill pack. The quantity is the exact number of beads used in the pattern.
The green button adds one 1,000-bead bag per colour to your cart, enough to make the pattern with beads to spare. The second button opens our bead calculator with all 6 colours and exact quantities already filled in: check, adjust if needed, then add to cart. Some colours are only used for a few beads, such as H02 (4 beads): for those, the second button is the more economical choice.
How to make Usagi with watermelon with fuse beads
- Get the grid ready. Print the grid in colour or display it on a tablet next to your 52 × 52 pegboard.
- Prepare your beads and tools. Gather the 6 colours in the pattern (H13, G08, E15, F05, B16, H02), a 52 × 52 pegboard, bent-tip tweezers, ironing paper and an iron.
- Start with the outline in wine red (G08). Place it with bent-tip tweezers, following the grid row by row. It draws the silhouette and guides everything else.
- Fill the large areas. Use papaya (H13), dark cherry (F05) and baby pink (E15).
- Add the details. Finish with the small touches: pistachio (B16) and white (H02).
- Iron. Cover the pattern with ironing paper, iron on medium heat without steam. Move in small circles for 10 to 20 seconds until the beads fuse. Let it cool under a book so your piece stays flat.
