9 Mini Christmas Motifs Fuse Bead Pattern: Large Free 80×80 Grid

  • 2,659 beads
  • 38 colours
  • 80 × 80 grid
  • Intermediate
  • 2.6mm mini beads
In short: this free fuse bead pattern brings together 9 little white-edged Christmas motifs: Santa, tree, snow globe, wreath with a bell, reindeer, apple, star, bauble and snowman. It uses 2,659 mini 2.6mm beads in 38 colours on an 80 × 80 grid. Once ironed, each motif measures between 4.7 and 6.2 cm, and 3 pegboards of 52 × 52 are enough for all 9. All colour codes are MARD codes, compatible with Artkal and Hama mini beads.

Nine little Christmas decorations edged in white, like a sticker sheet. Each one is made separately in about thirty minutes, with its own little touches of light: golden stars, colourful garlands, rosy cheeks. Just right for quietly making tree ornaments, magnets, key rings or gift tags.

The green button adds one 1,000-bead bag per colour to your cart, enough to make the pattern with beads to spare. The second button opens our bead calculator with all 38 colours and exact quantities already filled in: check, adjust if needed, then add to cart. Some colours are only used for a few beads, such as B21 (1 bead), B06 (2 beads), B11 (2 beads): for those, the second button is the more economical choice.

How to make the mini Christmas motifs with fuse beads

  1. Get the grid ready. Print the grid in colour or display it on a tablet next to your 52 × 52 pegboards. Choose which motifs to start with.
  2. Prepare your beads and tools. Gather the colours listed above (or only those of the motifs you picked), 3 square 52 × 52 pegboards (or one small pegboard per motif), bent-tip tweezers, ironing paper and an iron.
  3. Start with the dark outline of each motif. Wine red (G08) for most motifs, steel grey (C18) for the snow globe and the snowman. Place it with bent-tip tweezers, following the grid row by row.
  4. Fill the large areas. Add the white border (H02) all around, then fill the inside of each motif with its main colours: reds (F08, F07, F15), greens (B08, B09, B05) and browns (G10, G07).
  5. Add the details. The little golden stars (A13, A17), the rosy cheeks (F14, E01), the eyes (H07) and the highlights.
  6. Iron. Cover the motifs with ironing paper, iron on medium heat without steam. Move in small circles for 10 to 20 seconds until the beads fuse. Let them cool under a book so your pieces stay flat.

Does this pattern work with Hama mini or Artkal beads?

Yes. The codes are MARD codes, and our 2.6mm beads are compatible with Artkal mini beads. You can also use Hama mini beads (2.5mm): the grid stays the same, the result is just slightly smaller (between 4.5 and 6 cm per motif).

Is this pattern suitable for beginners?

Yes, one motif at a time. The grid uses 38 colours in total, but each small motif only uses some of them. Start with the tree or the apple, the simplest ones. Allow about thirty minutes per motif.
